Most noticeable in this area are what appears to be three parallel drains running east west, one with a manhole or tank type structure, possibly a sump. In the south west corner is a hardened area which was installed to allow fire engines to turn. In the north west corner is some possible archaeology but it doesn’t have an identifiable shape and could be backfill on some older feature. The area is pock marked and gives the impression that it is backfill overburden to help flatten the site. There may well be archaeological features in this area under this overburden and being masked by it.
