Wynsig

The oft mentioned Wynsig, longing to regain in the eyes of God and Ramsey Church more fully for himself the favour which had been damaged by his previous rash deed, also gave half a hide at Stukeley, with the Earldorman (Ailwyn) and his wife and sons as witnesses. On the basis of this gift the brothers of Ramsey Abbey later took possession another whole hide in the same vill by lawful title of purchase, having given a reasonable price to a son of that same Wynsig.
